Overview

Wiki is a built-in knowledge base feature in Turbo360 that lets you create and manage informative articles directly within the application. Articles are organized under dedicated nodes in each module, mirroring the tree structure you use to navigate your resources. This keeps operational knowledge close to the resources it describes, without requiring a separate documentation tool.

You access Wiki from the profile drop-down menu. Once open, the tree structure reflects the module hierarchy, so you can navigate, create, and read articles in context.

Business value

Wiki reduces the gap between your operational environment and its supporting documentation. Teams can attach runbooks, notes, and process guides directly to the nodes they describe, making institutional knowledge discoverable at the point of need. Because any user can access Wiki, knowledge sharing is not gated by role or team boundaries.

Prerequisites

• An active Turbo360 account
• Access to at least one module with nodes in the tree structure

Required permissions

All users can access Wiki. No elevated permissions are required to read or create articles.

Dependencies

• No additional configuration or external integrations are required.
• Wiki is accessible directly from the Turbo360 profile drop-down menu.

How it works

Wiki stores articles under specific nodes within the Turbo360 module tree. Each node can have one or more articles associated with it. When you open Wiki, you see the same tree structure as the module itself — nodes appear as navigable entries, and their associated articles appear beneath them.

The Wiki editor is a full-featured rich text editor with auto-save, so your content is preserved continuously as you write.

Steps

Use the following steps to add, edit, rename, delete, and view Wiki articles. Open Wiki from the profile drop-down menu to get started.

Add an article

Adding an article creates a new knowledge entry scoped to a specific node in the module tree, making it immediately accessible from that node's context menu.

1. Navigate to the target node in the tree, or open its Context menu ( ⋮ ).
2. Enter a name for the article.
3. Select the module. Nodes from the selected module appear in the Category drop-down.
4. Select the target node and click Create.

Edit an article

Editing an article opens it in the rich text editor so you can update its content while auto-save preserves your changes continuously.

Locate the article in the tree, then select the Edit option from its Context menu ( ⋮ ).

Rename an article

Renaming an article updates its display name in the tree without affecting its content or node association.

Open the node's Context menu ( ⋮ ) and select Rename.

Delete an article

Deleting an article permanently removes it from the node; this action cannot be undone.

To delete a single article, select Delete from the node's Context menu ( ⋮ ) or from within the article.

To delete multiple articles at once, select them from the parent node and choose Delete.

View articles for a node

Viewing a node's Wiki surfaces all knowledge articles associated with that node, so you can access runbooks and operational notes without leaving the module.

Select the Wiki option from any node's Context menu ( ⋮ ) to see all articles associated with that node.

Configuration

Wiki does not require configuration. It is available by default to all users in the Turbo360 platform.

Permission behavior

All authenticated Turbo360 users can read, create, edit, rename, and delete Wiki articles. Access is not restricted by role. There are no scenarios in which an authenticated user is blocked from Wiki.

Example scenario

A team uses Business Applications to monitor a set of Logic Apps. They create a Wiki article under the Logic App node documenting the reprocessing steps for a known failure pattern. When an alert fires, the on-call engineer opens the node's Wiki directly from the Context menu ( ⋮ ) to retrieve the runbook without leaving Turbo360.

Limitations

• Wiki articles are scoped to the node they are created under. You cannot create a global article that is not associated with a specific node.

Troubleshooting

1. Wiki option does not appear in the context menu
   Cause: The Wiki option may not appear on all node types, or the page may need a refresh after recent navigation.
   Fix: Try right-clicking a different node in the module tree. If the option still does not appear, refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, confirm you are signed in with an active Turbo360 account.

2. Article is not saved after editing
   Cause: A browser connectivity issue may have interrupted the auto-save.
   Fix: Check your browser connection. Refresh the page and reopen the article to restore the last saved version.

3. Bulk delete removed more articles than intended
   Cause: All selected articles under the parent node were included in the delete operation.
   Fix: Verify your selection before confirming deletion. Deleted articles cannot be recovered.

4. Cannot find a previously created article
   Cause: Articles are scoped to the node they were created under and do not appear globally.
   Fix: Navigate to the original node and open Wiki from its Context menu ( ⋮ ) to locate the article.

5. Editor formatting does not render correctly after saving
   Cause: Some formatting elements may display differently depending on browser version.
   Fix: Clear the browser cache or open the article in a different browser.

FAQs

1. Who can create and edit Wiki articles?
   Any authenticated Turbo360 user can create, edit, rename, and delete Wiki articles. There are no role-based restrictions.

2. Can I create a Wiki article that is not tied to a specific node?
   No. Wiki articles are always associated with a specific node in the module tree. There is no global or free-standing article type.
