What is a Business Application in Turbo360?
A Business Application is a logical grouping of Azure resources that you monitor and manage as a single unit. It lets you track health, configure monitoring rules, and trigger automated actions across all grouped resources from one place. -
What Azure permissions do I need to connect a subscription to Business Applications?
Your service principal requires at least Reader role on the Azure subscription or resource group you want to monitor. Some operations (such as running automated tasks) require Contributor role on the target resources. See Service principal setup for the full permissions list. -
Can I add resources from multiple Azure subscriptions to one Business Application?
Yes. Business Applications support multi-subscription resource grouping. Each subscription must have a connected service principal with the appropriate permissions. See Managing resources for steps to add resources across subscriptions. -
How many resources can I add to a single Business Application?
There is no per-Business Application resource limit. The only applicable limit is the total number of resources covered by your Turbo360 license for the module. -
What is the difference between a Business Application and a Business Application group?
A Business Application represents a single logical system (for example, an order processing pipeline). A Business Application group is a container that organises multiple Business Applications, useful when you want to apply shared settings or view aggregate health across related systems. What happens if my service principal credentials expire?
Monitoring stops for all resources associated with that service principal, and the Business Application shows a connectivity error. Renew the credentials in Azure, then update the service principal in Turbo360 under Settings > Service principals.
