Overview
License consumption in Turbo360 gives you visibility into how your organization is using its purchased limits across all modules. You can view real-time usage, manage your subscription period, and configure alerts to notify your team before limits are reached.
Business value
Tracking license consumption helps you avoid service interruptions caused by exceeding purchased limits. Proactive consumption alerts give your team time to upgrade before thresholds are breached, keeping all modules operational without unplanned downtime.
Prerequisites
- Active Turbo360 account with a purchased subscription.
- At least one notification channel configured to receive consumption alerts.
Required permissions
- Account owner role in Turbo360.
Dependencies
- Notification channels must be configured before consumption alerts can deliver notifications.
How it works
The License consumption section shows your organization's usage against the purchased limits for each Turbo360 module. Turbo360 tracks consumption continuously and compares it against your subscription entitlements.
When consumption approaches configured thresholds, Turbo360 sends notifications to all configured notification channels. This applies to Azure cost consumption and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) event consumption.
Your subscription remains active for the duration of the period you purchased. You can extend or upgrade your subscription at any time — you do not need to wait for the current period to expire.
Licensing plans
Turbo360 offers five licensing plans based on your organization's Azure spend. Each plan includes dedicated resource limits for each module.
| Plan | Azure spend |
|---|---|
| Azure Beginner | Up to $10,000 |
| Azure Lite | $10,000 – $20,000 |
| Azure Growth | $20,000 – $50,000 |
| Azure Pro | $50,000 – $250,000 |
| Azure Enterprise | $250,000 – $500,000 |
You can choose any plan for each module independently during purchase or upgrade, based on your usage requirements.

Configure consumption alerts
Configuring consumption alerts notifies your team when module usage approaches your purchased limits.

- Set the consumption threshold at which you want to receive notifications.
- Save the configuration.
Turbo360 sends notifications to all configured notification channels when the threshold is reached.

Permission behavior
With access: You can view consumption data for all modules, configure consumption alerts, and initiate license upgrade or contact sales requests.
Without access: Users without the required permissions cannot access Settings > License consumption.
Example scenario
Your organization has purchased a Turbo360 subscription that includes a limit on BAM events. As usage grows, you configure a consumption alert at 80% of the BAM events limit. When consumption reaches that threshold, all configured notification channels — such as Teams and email — receive an alert. Your team reviews the usage and initiates an upgrade before the limit is reached, avoiding any disruption to BAM monitoring.
Limitations
- Consumption alerts are supported for Azure cost consumption and BAM events consumption only. Other module consumption types do not currently support alert configuration.
- Notifications are delivered to all configured notification channels simultaneously. You cannot target specific channels per alert threshold.
- The subscription period cannot be reduced after purchase. You can only extend or upgrade.
Troubleshooting
-
Consumption data is not updating.
Cause: There may be a delay in usage data ingestion from Azure or BAM.
Fix: Wait a few minutes and refresh the License consumption page. If data remains stale, contact Turbo360 support. -
Consumption alert notifications are not being received.
Cause: No notification channels are configured, or the configured channels have connectivity issues.
Fix: Verify that at least one notification channel is active and correctly configured. Navigate to Settings > Notification channels and test the channel connection. -
