FAQs
Access and licensing
Tenant Manager is switched on per account. These answers cover how to get it, what it supports, and what it changes.
-
How do I get Tenant Manager for my account?
Tenant Manager is off by default in both Turbo360 SaaS and private hosting. Any signed-in user in the account can select Request access on the Tenant Manager card on the Home page and describe how they plan to use it. On SaaS, only the Turbo360 team can switch Tenant Manager on, and they get in touch by email. On private hosting, Tenant Manager is available when your license file includes it, and you request access to get a license file that includes it. -
How does licensing work for Tenant Manager?
Tenant Manager follows the license tier of your account. You can see usage under Settings > License consumption. See Licensing FAQs and License consumption and alerts. -
Which Microsoft 365 clouds are supported?
Tenant Manager supports Microsoft 365 commercial and GCC tenants, wherever Turbo360 is hosted. GCC High, DoD, and China tenants aren't supported. -
Does Tenant Manager change my Microsoft 365 tenant on its own?
Only in two cases. An approver approves a task, and Tenant Manager then applies the change in Microsoft 365. Or you switch on an automation, which removes licenses under the rules you set. Otherwise Tenant Manager only reads. A sync never changes anything in Microsoft 365. It reads from Microsoft 365 and updates the data saved in Tenant Manager. -
Which roles does Tenant Manager have?
Tenant Manager has three system-defined roles. A role can apply to the entire module, to a tenant group together with everything beneath it, or to a single tenant. See Roles and permissions in Tenant Manager. -
Can I use Turbo360 APIs with Tenant Manager?
Turbo360 exposes APIs for several capabilities in Cost Analyzer, Business Applications, Business Activity Monitoring, and Azure Documenter, including document generation, monitoring configurations, and service principal management. API keys can't be scoped to Tenant Manager.
Activity log
Tenant Manager keeps a user activity log for changes made in the module.
- How long does the activity log keep entries, and what does it record?
Entries are kept for 30 days, as in the other Turbo360 modules. Tenant Manager records a manual sync but not scheduled syncs, and scheduled report runs are not logged. You can download the entries in the current filtered view with Export logs, but you can't edit or delete entries. See Tenant Manager user activities.
